L400 Parts Numbers

How to find parts + part numbers

  1. Find your van's chassis/frame number (not the VIN, if you have one).Ā (Where to find it and what it means post here).Ā Example: P25W-0514652. If your van has a VIN then you'll need to get the chassis number from the build plate that's under the carpet flap.)
  2. Enter that frame number intoĀ epc-data.com That'll bring you to a parts catalog that is specific to your Delica. There's even an info panel at the top that tells you the manufacture date (yes, *actual* manufacture date, not the date of first registration like some other sites).
  3. Look up the part numbers for the things you want. Example: Engine->Cylinder Head. Clicking on 01298P Bolt, Cylinder head brings up part numberĀ MD040514Ā BOLT, CYLINDER HEAD.Ā 18x required per car.*
  4. Use that part number to buy genuine parts from a local Mitsubishi dealer orĀ Amayama.com Can put the part number intoĀ Amazon,Ā Ebay,Ā or evenĀ GoogleĀ to find aftermarket equivalent parts.
  5. Bonus tip to help you find the size of bolts if you want generic replacements: Megazip usually shows the size of bolts. e.g.Ā https://www.megazip.net/zapchasti-d.../p35w-19993/hsrgt2-624863/water-pump-7919270#
